This luxury apartment is situated within One Thousand Museum, the iconic Miami tower designed by visionary Iraqi-born British architect Zaha Hadid. With its bold, sculptural architecture, the residence called for an interior design that reflects futuristic forms while embracing warmth and comfort. Studio RODA’s approach embraces the concept of warm futurism, a design philosophy that fuses sleek, contemporary shapes with rich, tactile materials. This balance results in a modern interior design that feels both innovative and inviting, responding thoughtfully to the building’s architectural language. The once-blank foyer was transformed into a sculptural entryway featuring smoked oak paneling and warm grey Venetian plaster. A custom bench and a ribbed glass door with a curved handle anchor the space, setting a tone of layered textures and sensory richness. In the living room, curved walnut wall panels are paired with a polished stainless steel console that reflects the panoramic views of Star, Palm, and Hibiscus Islands. This dynamic interplay of materials enlivens the layout and adds depth to the space. The bedroom showcases a custom floating bed integrated with a desk, nightstands, and winged headboard, all designed with soft curves and metal accents, maintaining the harmony between form and function. The result is a luxury interior as sculptural and deliberate as the building it inhabits.
