Private Residence – Miami Beach, Florida

Employed by a risk-taking client with the desire to move beyond Miami’s conventional white interiors, Studio RODA conceptualized this modern home as a refined, avant-garde residence. Balancing communal and private spaces, it highlights the studio’s trademark mix of raw and polished materials, starting with a brushed, flamed black granite floor in the primary living area and Italian marble in the bath and kitchen. A Scarpa copper-based dining table inspired the use of copper metalwork throughout the home, which perfectly counters its honey-hued European elm millwork for a provocative finish.
